At Veranda Home Care, we provide a full spectrum of in-home support tailored to each client’s needs. Our core services include assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship. Beyond these essentials, we also specialize in luxury enhancements—from wellness and lifestyle support to concierge services like cultural outings, in-home spa treatments, or private chef coordination. Every care plan is customized, ensuring our clients receive both the reliable support they need and the elevated experiences they deserve.

4. Are your caregivers licensed and trained?
Yes. All our caregivers are fully licensed Home Care Aides, background-checked, and professionally trained to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Absolutely. Every care plan is personalized to meet the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs of our clients, ensuring comfort, dignity, and independence.

6. Do you offer live-in care?
To ensure consistent, high-quality care for our clients and sustainable schedules for our caregivers, Veranda Home Care currently provides hourly, shift-based care.

At this time, we do not offer live-in or 24-hour care arrangements..

7. How do I get started with Veranda Home Care?
Simply contact us via the Contact page to schedule a consultation. We’ll discuss your needs over zoom, then meet at your home and create a personalized care plan, and match you with the ideal caregiver.

8. What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve clients throughout Marin and Sonoma counties. We do plan to expand to San Francisco and the Peninsula in 2027.

9. Is transportation included in your services?
Yes. Our concierge team arranges safe and reliable transportation via third party to medical appointments, errands, and social outings, ensuring convenience and peace of mind.

10. How is care scheduled and managed?
We offer flexible scheduling based on your lifestyle and needs. Our care coordinators monitor every plan, making adjustments as necessary to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

11. How do you ensure quality and safety?
We maintain rigorous hiring standards, ongoing training, and regular supervision. Client satisfaction and safety are always our top priorities.

12. Do you accept insurance?
Veranda Home Care currently only accepts private pay.

13. How does billing and caregiver payroll work?
Our caregivers are paid weekly, and Veranda Home Care manages all taxes, insurance, and administrative responsibilities. Clients are billed bi-weekly, and we accept credit cards or bank auto-pay. We also work directly with Long-Term Care insurance providers and can handle billing on your behalf, removing the financial burden from your shoulders.

14. Does Medicare or Medi-Cal cover Veranda Home Care’s services?
Veranda Home Care does not accept Medicare or Medi-Cal for home care services. Medicare agencies are limited in both scope and duration of care. If you need additional support beyond what Medicare provides, we would be glad to help.
